Tools

Decision Support Tools have been developed by the scientists at MDFRC to assist managers to better manage the rivers, flora and fauna of the Murray Darling Basin.

Decision Support Tools are generated software that organise information to support planning, or other priority-setting activities. They enable managers to more quickly and efficiently make ecological decisions.

Two Decision Support Tool have been developed for the National Water Commission.  The first assists water managers to make decisions about water allocations to facilitate fish breeding.  The second assists water managers to manage sulfidic sediments in inland aquatic ecosystems.
