Braeden Lampard - Aquatic technician




Braeden Lampard is a casual Aquatic Research Technician based at The Murray-Darling Freshwater Research Centre in Mildura, Victoria, Australia.

Braeden’ main technical area of responsibility is support to MDFRC projects and Laboratory maintenance.

 Braeden Lampard’s technical topics of special interest include:

  • Fish biology/ecology
  • Lowland river and wetland ecology
  • Lateral Fish Movement
  • Field work
  • Boat and Vehicle maintenance


Prior to commencing at MDFRC Braeden Lampard has held positions at:

  • Mildura RSL
  • Fishers Supermarket

For the last 3 years, Braeden has been based at The Murray-Darling Freshwater Research Centre where he has worked on the The Living Murray program, Lake Kramen, Murray hardyhead program, Margooya Lagoon directional fish movement, Butlers Creek, Murray Larval drift, Sandilong Creek, Kings Billabong, Thegoa fish movement, Data Consolidation, The Living Murray intervention monitoring and the  Darling Anabranch Adaptive Management Monitoring Program.

Academic qualifications

  • Diploma of Conservation and Land Management from Sunraysia Institute of TAFE 2011
  • Certificate Three in Conservation and Land Management from Sunraysia Institute of TAFE 2009
